Results of 2012 Competition

Dear members and friends of ESU Turkey,

We had a great day on Friday, March 2nd at the grand finals of ESU Turkey 2012 International Public Speaking Competition. We wish you were all there...

Since last year more than 1000 students took part in our public speaking workshops, and 23 great speakers representing 14 leading schools competed at the grand finals this year.

Hisar School hosted an excellent organization under the leadership of Ms. Feza Güvenal and Ms. Cey Alpauti, and thanks to the detailed hard work of Ms. Ay?e Banu ?amiko?lu and Ms. Nilufer Ça??n the whole program ran very smoothly.

It was a great day as another milestone for the establishment of public speaking culture in our schools.

We should especially thank to Barbara Ferguson, John McKee, Hakan San, Sema Kan Ozkaya, Janet Robinson (HSBC), Simon Shephard (British Council) and Yasemin Akçagüner (winner 2011) for joining the grand jury and Berna Kolçak (coordinator of ESU Turkey) and Kerem Urman (master of ceremony for the day) for their commitment and support.
